So me and Chris hook up for another ride as part of my continued "rehab". Meet at Albertons parking lot. This time i bring the AM instead of the Stinky so I can still keep Chris in my sights on the trails. We decide to hit the "ridge" surrounding Irvine park then a quick lap at Peters. All in ~13 miles...not much but still getting my legs (and back) back. Best call of ride was Chris's suggestion to hit Chronic Tacos before heading home. Quick call to wifey and get hall pass extended! (note to self keep riding with this guy, he's no dummy).

Pics include gps of ride, mi chronic amigo and maybe a new STR stickr? although i think the Godfather is worthy to throwing down a benjamin - maybe playing on the George thing

Chris - thanks again. and look foward to see some more of the STR posse at Blackstar this weekend

He says "I'll ride the AM to keep Chris in sight"

What really happened: After blowing my legs hot-lapping the loop earlier in the day and riding my SS 29er, Adam rode up the hills and I was walking, trying to keep up. And of course, on the downhills I am notoriously slow and riding a hardtail didn't help, so Adam on his 5" travel Ellsworth flew down the rock and rut infested downs, while I plodded along.

Thanks for having me along on the ride, I hope I didn't hold you back too much. I am glad that you decided to head back when you did because I was bingo energy and also I am glad you didn't try to push your back.

Thanks very much for the tacos at CT, they hit the spot. I'll pick up the tab next time.

All in all, a great ride. Always a pleasure to ride w/ you Adam.
