Default Good Times!

Hey Thanks Guys, Adrenaline, Rocky Mountain, Chumba, and Yeti for putting on the event today. We had a great time getting lost up there on the mtn. The only complaint I had was the cooks at View Haus kept telling everyone 30 mins for a grilled sandwich. We were starving and didn't want to waste the day away waiting. They must have lost atleast 13 burgers while we were feasting on Doritos and Ice Tea.

Mara and Wendel, met them on the trail

Frankie - Check out his right foot! Doh!

Oh yeah, one casualty today. I took a log jump at the end of Pirates and landed off my pedals and used my stomach to stay on the bike. Let's just say I looked like Superman landing My seat got bent outta shape pretty bad. Justin should have a photo of it.

Thumbs up

Thanks Neil for putting this shindig together, it was a BLAST!!

I had a great time riding with the guy's today, Nam, Rob, Dale, and Brett. Each time we got to the top of the lift, we'd meet up with Roger and Nacey and their crew, and they take off in one direction, and we'd hit the other.

The second trail we came down today was worth the cost of addmision all on it's own!

I didn't get a whole lot of pics, but I thought I took one of each of the bub's. Insted, I got two of Nam, and zero of Rob!

You guy's helped make this one of the best B-Days ever!

Thanks!!

Nam gett'n some air!

Dale gett'n some too! This picture makes the jump look a bit more tame than it was. The trail kinda falls away, and then follows up with a tree stump jump. NICE!!

Nam on the same jump.....

Brett on his "BIG DAWG" ride'n the log!

Like I said, it was a day well spent!

wow, what a weekend!!!!!!

big ups to neil and his crew for making this all happen. i've been fortunate (or maybe unfortunate, lol) to get to know neil and the rest of the adrenaline bubbs over the past couple of months and they really are a great bunch of guys, and if they sold KONAs i woulda bought my dawg from them.

the poker ride/fundraiser was a blast, such a huge turnout, and what makes it even more fun is that nearly everytime i turned around i recognized a familiar face, and i even met a few new ones. the sense of "community" that has developed (at least in my eyes) is truly outstanding! big bear was a blast as im sure most of you could tell from the photos! i know darin was suppose to have his birthday death ride up in the santa anas today, but lucky for us (and not for him) he came down with a cold and headed up to big bear. we rode with him for at least 3 runs and i dont think there isn't any stunt or drop that he wont try, very inspiring (or crazy). and once again, happy birthday! (and thanks for the photos).

thanks nam for the photos and videos, and i like to give you guys a surprise gun show from time to time. thanks to dale for offering to spot me on the log ride/bridge thing. as always, the photo dummied down the stunt, that it was about 3 feet or so above the ground, uphill, and then a steeper uphill kink towards the top, and the consequence if you fell off the left side would include being impaled by all the broken branches down there. thanks to turneROB for letting me crash on his couch saturday night, and thanks to dale for checking the map about a 1/2 mile after we passed 1E01 (or whatever it was called).

good times bubbs!

Thanks to Neil for setting this up, and all the bike reps for bringing bikes. I didn't check one out, but I know they were busy all day giving out free demo's.

Cool pics all the way around.

Allison--does it seem to you like the 305 battery life is less than claimed? I have to charge mine a lot more frequently than the Forerunner 301 I had, even though Garmin claims their battery life is the same.
