ha ha. No, the first thing Keith was talking about was getting a trainer for his road bike. He'll be riding on that for the next month or so.

Thanks Andy, Anne and George for coming to the hospital. I know it meant a lot to Keith. We're just waiting to go get him a surgery consultation ... he may get his surgery today; they need to put "ti" pins in his arm. He excited about the choice of metal. :-)

We've gone down the steep bit several times at sunset or a little past ... but this time, there was a huge rut. We shouldn't have done it, that's for sure. Keith hit the rut and went into a tree at full speed (no brakes). ...

Big thanks to everybody that was out last night - I had a great time out there for my first big fully loop social ride! I'm still working on getting all the names down, but meeting my long lost dad at Roscoes kinda overwhelmed me I guess! See y'all at Irvine or Summit this weekend, and definately next thursday...

Good running into you...my son. We will ride together again...soon.

Yes Keither...I was excited that you guys made it out last night and so bummed when I got the news that you broke you arm. Better take the little ladies advise and keep up the riding on the trainer.

Heal soon ~ cc

Anticipate you may be able to get one cheap at the shop but if interested I believe we have on laying around collecting dust (in box) if you want to borrow next few months until he's back on bike so don't have to buck up for one. if not no worries, just trying to help out a brother recently placed on DL. again healing vibes to Keith

geez man, i'm not riding with you bastards at the loop anymore... the DL keeps rising every week, perhaps tooo many people in the group? i can't make any sense out of it.

anyhow, Keith... doood, you should have just hucked the hill.. its a lot faster... but on the real, heal quick man.. i had to go to physical therapy for a month after i broke my elbow... the good thing was that this cute chick would always massage my arm when i came in

Hey Keith, you're welcome to borrow my 1up trainer. The weather's too good right now and I never use it.

That's what I keep thinking. The Loop is beginning to sound like the Bermuda Triangle. Maybe I'll just show up at Roscoe's.

For being my first ride there it was quite the trail. The lighting could have been better towards the end, at one point I went through a bush and came out the other end wondering WTF. I met Letty who tried to warn us about the upcoming hills and a fellow noob to the trail Paul.

good times, though the injuries sure scare the heck out of me

Whew Keith, take care and prayers go out for a successful surgery and a blazing fast recovery.

Working late last night seemed pretty smart given all of the Loop Carnage.

Is is just me, or does Dino seem to be at the scene of every crash???

The Curse of the Iron Horse is upon us !!!!

Well this was my first time around the infamous Fully Loop and first time out on an organized ride with the STR group... with all the carnage and dust and darkness I was able to still finish the ride with one of the groups that had 2 bike mounted lights... can't remember all the names of riders i met... glad i missed the quiz at the end of the ride... lol

Didn't get to stay for the afterwards... hopefully next time so i can officially meet more of ya all. I had an awesome time and can't wait to get back out there with the group.

Hope the broken heal quickly ...

Sounds like it was a good thing I missed this week as well. I'll try and make it there again as soon as my bike bubble comes in to protect me.

Bike lights don't help in an urban setting. Glare from streetlights, mall lights, stadium lights, kill your night vision so the black shadows stay black. Turn your HID light on in a lighted room and the beam on the wall looks weak.
