I think CC has more of the climbing done on fireroads, but still close. CC has more milage though, I think.

If you add the 10 miles, it'd be right there. When do they open registration for CC anyway?? I looked on their site and didn't see it.

You will probably have to. The last I checked, Holy Jim parking lot is closed to vechicles. You'll have to park off Live Oak.

Depends when you do this. I would be in, but it will be an oven on Lower HJ fo sho.

The CC was 44 miles this year with 8000 ft of climbing, The Traverse was IMO was tougher even though the distance and elevation gain was similar, because if the lack of downhill like the Motorway and Upper and Lower HJs
