After lurking in the forums for a few months, I finally convinced my hubby that we needed to join in on an STR ride. So we hooked up with Dan (project_d) for some shuttling at Mt. Wilson.

We met at 7 then shuttled up to Mt. Wilson observatory to ride Sturtevant and Chantry Flats (new trails for us).

Also attending were Tim (grandpa), Rogelio (aztlan) and 2 friends, Rick and Javier.

The top of the trail was fast, but loose and dry with alot of leaves which hid many tree roots and rocks. I managed to stop and take a few photos. Enjoy

Thanks for bringing the camera Nancy, that's a really good pic of you coming over the roots! Definitely had a blast, even though the top is the loosest I've seen in years. Let's do it again soon!

looks like you guys had a good time... i was supposed to go, but the guys and girls night out ended up getting pretty rowdy and we were out late... no shape the next morning to ride that trail
