...OK, First off before any smack gets going, and I know it will, with Dino involved... I just want to say thanks to all who helped me with my little mishap. This all started with a little race up to the water tower above the dam, and then a small challenge to ride the downhill straight through to the base of the dam... I thought it was Dino following in close pursuit, but I never heard the sound of those thundering hooves as I reached terminal velocity, things got a little slippery at the end, a small rut, and then... BAM! I did hear sliding and crashing right behind me... I was a little dazed, but I think it was Woobie sitting with me at the end... Even though Dino was the main contributing factor in all this, I won't hold it against him... after all, he does ride a horse. OK, I started it Dino... finish me off! Seriously, thanks to SAR Boats, Dino, CeCe, Ryarnall, and anyone else that helped me get through the night! See you Thursday!

Hey Berry glad I could help talk you through it. It was awsome watching the big male nurses put your shoulder into place. I think Ryarnall and Dino knew what was coming and decided to stay in the waiting room (hahaha they were scaaarrred). Even though they are part of the Iron Horse team they're not quite the same without their bikes in toe.

Also good talking to you tonight....You sound sooo much better today. Those drugs were taking a major effect on you last night.

Healing vibes and hope to see you on a trail near you soon!

That was good times/bad times at the Loop last night for sure.

Neil and Andy thanks for carrying the extra fuel we all needed... it was really ice cold.

Hey Jared & McGyver sorry to hear what happened.
Just remember "Hakuna Matata" it means no worries.
You'll both be healing soon and hopefully fast.

Here comes Neil and Andy on a routine expedition. With the greatest beer run ever known.
That ride last night was not nice to everyone.
I hope everyone recovers quickly. I have been there before. Broken collar bones are painful.

I saved your life and that is how you treat me.

I gave you permission to vomit in my truck (if you felt the need) and that is how my friend shows his appreciation?

Allow me to set the record straight!

1) Yes, the smack talking shall commence...... right about .... NOW!

2) Challenge? What challenge? During the climb, I pedaled with one leg (while reading the book- Trails of The San Gabriel's) and still destroyed you!

3) Challenge to ride the downhill? Excuse me? I clearly remember telling you 75 times it was waaay too dark to consider it.

Taking a page from my soon to be published BLOG, I also remembered saying, "if its too dark for the Iron Horse to do it, it would be near suicide for YOU to do it on your 42 lb. 9" travel XC bike!"

4) Never heard the sounds of thundering hooves BEHIND you? Why would you? When riding with the Horse- the taste of dirt (from my rear tire) is what people most remember.

5) A second reason you didn't hear me- I took the trail to the left!! The same thing I told you to do!

Ding! Ding! Ding! Round One goes to Dino!

We can talk more about your apparant concussion (i.e. re-writing history) on Thursday!

...Isn't that where the sign says "no farm animals beyond this point"? I should've taken your advice... but then we wouldn't have had all that fun with the dying people in the ER... You're welcome! And I just took a rain check on the vomit offer, I'm saving it until I get a ride to Roscoe's! ...and I saw you using 2 legs, and nearly blew out a lung at the top! I nearly blew out a lung at the top? I was just trying to make you feel better about your 2:07:43 time to climb a 400 foot hill with 45 foot of elevation change!

The real reason I was breathing hard--- The wait for you at the top was sooo long, I decided to do another LOOP!

As for you NOT being most people- TRUE! Most people didn't go to the hospital last night!

....Wait until I finish the hospital BLOG!!! You will be laughing for 10 minutes

Last night was crazy. It was fun, yet bummed that a couple fellow riders went down. Heal quickly Jared and Mac. Props to Schecky and Dino for driving them to the ER. Thanks to CC and Heather for nursing them(I should get hurt more often).

Thanks to Neil and Andy for towing the beer err refreshments. Woob, no problem, you've got a ride home anytime.

It was good to see so many come back for the injured and stay to make sure all was well. As I always say; We leave no one behind. Always a pleasure to ride with you all. Here are the pics. Enjoy!
