that pretty much explains the ride and after ride festivities.

big thanks to andy and neil for supplying the liquid refreshments. Neil ran out of beer by the time we hit Parks st. We all owe you guys a pitcher or two of beer

Jared and Mac, heal up quick guys... we'll miss you out on the trails with us.

Woob's, you sir are the shiz. I still have no idea how you made it so far without crashing considering the amount of alcohol you consumed

roscoe's was quite the wild time... Jose was startin some shit... i was fairly certain that the singer/guitar dood was gonna get cut. i think when they started playing RATM everyone started getting pumped up...

all in all, despite the injuries... good ride everyone

Wow, sounds like I really missed it this week. Being injured sucks; may healing hands be laid upon those injured. Hopefully I can do it next week.

Question for the day. Does a broken collarbone hurt less when you're helped by a pretty girl?

I know that Jared was very appreciative of all the help he got. But yeah, even as his wife, I can say he definately liked that it wasn't just big sweaty stinky men around him. Of course, I kinda liked the picture from his last crash with Jose standing over his prostrate body mugging for the camera.

Default Wooohooo!!!

First off thanks to everyone who helped me!!

How it started, well Rut took off with the bob, and I've had this vendetta to never let him out climb me since the last time he was pulling that trailer so I took off after him, after I passed him I thought I'd relish the decent, Well on the way down right before the bigger root in the way there is this littler bump, and someone did a tail whip and kicked up sand in my face (my bad for following too close, I know better) after that I was blind, the first bump kicked out my right foot from the clip and then I after dropping over the root the bars turned perpendicular to the trial and I accomplished a forward dismount. I landed on my feet but knew it was time to roll, on the first roll my shoulder hit HARD. the two subsequent rolls were burning off motion. I heard Gonz yell rider down and grabbed my bike ( I feared getting run over in the dust ) As I grabbed the bike and threw it to the side I thought, "HEY I told both arms to work, whys the left slacken off?"
Then it hit me and I sat down. Did basic diagnostic and found that my collar bone had a unique geometry too it.

Thats how it happened.

And yes Craig There is nothing like attention from women to make you forget the pain.

I don't know her name or handle, but she came over and asked if she could see my arm. My first question, "Are you a Nurse?" I say that because I could see Jose asking "DoooD I gottsa see that!"

And to quote the great Animaniacs: Heeeellllloooooo Nurse!

I was reminded again why I ride and participate in this forum. the best way to describe it is OHANA - (Yes I'm taking the Line from Lilo and stitch) But we're family, and nobody is left behind, or forgotten.

Heres the Pics I had of the event:

So my official Vote for the STR Motto is [SIZE=4]OHANA

I love this photo! Looks like you guys terrorized the Loop last night, I wonder what all the hikers were thinkin'. Too bad I missed out on all the festivities.

Jared and Mac, I wish you both a quick healing process. Get your P.T. asap. If it wasn't for my P.T., I would probably still be in pain from last year's shoulder injury.

Thanks for the photos guys!

One crazy night for sure....

Jared - take care and heal fast!

it's clearly not the most technical trail, so it must have some other powers at work.

Indeed, this is the same stretch where we always find the small votive candles set up for some sort of voodoo ceremony or dead cat offering.

Neil & Andy - awesome job with the BOBs

It musta been quite a site when traffic came to a stop at Euclid and riders just kept coming up from the trail full tilt and diving in on the other side

ODB - thanks for the parking lot brew!
