Justin, Craig, and I arrived at about 8:10 at the meet spot, with Frankie and Andrea just ahead of us. We were the first two cars but others started rolling in right after. Soon the pull-out lot was pretty full!!

While Ben was on time, Wally showed up late! "What, I'm on time?" Sure, on WallyTime

Tom, T-2, Cathy, Armando, Frankie, Andrea, and J_eff all headed down about 3 miles to a small parking area so they could get the fire road grind out of the way early. Unfortunately it meant that the ride didn't really start until almost 10

The crazy SSers (Jeff, Klutter Justin, and Jose) were riding around just trying to keep busy.

We all met up and started off down the fire road toward the singletrack, ready for the long ride ahead. I ended up having 30.8 miles, 3900ft of climbing, and 9 hours of total time. There were a few flats (all changed really quickly), and a bit of carnage (see the photo). Armando - you better have gotten stitches bud!

Too many rides this weekend!!! We had 17 riders on the Irvine Rqnch Open Space Epic 40 miler this weekend (Adam's ride). Like Gene, trying to get ready for the pain coming next weekend (the Traverse). I love the SART and all of its various loops.
