RR: O'Neill - Sanitago Truck Trail - Cadillac

Sweet ride today with Gene, Chip, Rob, Vince, Mark, Ray and Nita. Three of us had to bail at The Luge due to time constraints. Busy day at the Flag. I counted over 25 riders there.

Five of us continued on toward Old Camp and then down Cadillac. Weather was hot but ride was still fun.

Cadillac was steep as always, but very dry and loose. I did OK on my Mutanoraptor 2.4 (F) and 2.24 (R) but Gene running a Exiwolf 2.1 in the back was fishtailing alot. We had one rider go down twice in the steeper/slippery sections but no major damage. This trail could use some rain, but I'm sure we won't see that for some time.

As always the margaritas at The Rose Canyon Cantina were awesome!

Nice route pickout and good time as well. It was getting hot on STT. Lots of riders going up toward Old Camp. Cadillac was fun. I've never been. It was loose dry and rocky as with most trails these days. It would've been funner if I had traction going down some of the steeper parts but I managed. Thanks for the ride today. Good ride, good company and good food and drink afterwards.

Cadillac sounds like it needs rain... just like most of the other steep trails in the Cleveland. Jealous about the beer aftefwards... I ended drinking another bottle of accelearade... (the things we do to ride!)
