Default Help for Dirt Rag - Big Bear Lake?

OK, thanks to good advice from posters here and elsewhere, I've given up on featuring the Mojave Nat'l Preserve in an upcoming story about places to ride along I-40. Nobody wants to slog through sandy trails best left to four-wheelers!

So, does anybody want to write a description of riding in the Big Bear Lake/San Bernadino Nat'l Forest area?

You can email me or ask here for more details...

The only thing I care to talk about concerning Big Bear MTBing is how we could loose a trail like Siberia Creek Trail due to lack of maintance. It is overgrown and currenty unridable a mile past gunsight. Granted it is posted that Forest Service will not maintain it...to me that just opend the door for the MTBing community to step up.

Yes close. If you could ride Siberia Creek Trail (#1W10) down it would take you through Siberia Creek Group Camp near Slide Lake. Then on Forest Service Road #1N09 to Seven Oaks Road and the SART.

I'm all for the camping and the riding but my mom doesn't let me drink or, er, whatever else you were suggesting.
