Thanks to The Path for putting up a great Beer run. We need more rides with beer pit stops. I was one of the last on the pack and I was number 145. Good turn out and weather was perfect for riding. It was nice seeing some of you again. Dean looked happy wearing his recovered sun glasses. I had lots of fun even though my rear brakes went to metal near the end of the ride.

Good times yesterday. Glad to be back in CA seeing all the STR bros and nugs. Thanks to Tustin Brewery CO. for supplying the beer. Good food and excellent pizza afterwords.

This was my third BnB and they just keep getting better and better. Seeing so many old and new faces it felt like a family reunion of mtb buddies. There were people I see all the time and people I only see once a year and yet we all greeted each other the same. It's also fun to put screen names to faces!

Can't wait to ride again...SOON!

This was my 1st BnB and my 1st group ride ever. I can thank Neil (1x1clyde - note the mothers day present on a previous post) for the kick in the butt to get out and ride...

The slight uphill grade on the road slowly but surely drained my tank by the time we came to the bike path I was pooped. I just kept pedaling as everyone slowly passed by - I rode with 2 very nice and positive guys suffering just as much as me - they really helped me to keep going. Thanks guys I didn't catch your names.

Neil was doing all the work towing Maddie on the tag along (I heard she didn't pedal) so we planned to just do Peters Cyn - Maddie TOLD me that I can't be slow and needed to keep up with her and Daddy, like that was going to happen . I took a few breaks and had a blast coming down the very short single-track.This was a great time!

It was so nice to put names to faces finally. I'm glad my 1st group ride was mellow and without a ton of pressure to be the fastest but rather just to have fun and enjoy everyones company.

This ride was the motivation I needed to ride more often and get stronger.

Thanks to the Path and everyone else who made this a fantastic event.

Oh and the Beer at the end was my favorite part .

You did great hot stuff!
It was the first group ride our little family has done together, perhaps the best ride I have ever been on having my wife, daughter and a bunch of friends just cruisning along.
It was great seeing Shannon and THE Bruce again along with Andy taking my camera out of my basket and taking some pix, I will post those up later.
Just remember to unclip BEFORE the stop light Traci, then you won't fall over

Sounds like I missed a great ride and some serious beer too!
Am I the only one who thinks the bum in the picture with Matt looks like Dean wearing a hat and ear phones?!! Sorry Dean! LOL!

Noel, I was already at the top of the hill. George was a victim to Ann's camera.

Bret has been trying to talk me into this ride for the past couple years now, and since I haven't been able to ride with my fellow STR bubbs as much since I moved I figured I'd go check out the B&B ride. Glad I did! Showed up at the Tustin Brewery lot early and chatted with Maxwell a bit, then Bret showed up, then Von Skipp (thanks for the Turner jersey), and many many other STR bubbs. We cruised over to The Path around 8:30 and the parking lot there slowly got so filled up people were overflowing to across the street!

Chatted it up with a bunch of old and new faces in the lot for about an hour......and of course the bum just kinda set the tone for the day The cruise through the streets was pretty cool, so many riders we just took over our own lane. People trying to get out of their neighborhoods were either pissed off or in awe of how many riders kept coming by. I was having a ton of fun already and we hadn't even hit the dirt yet!

I'll definately be back next year! Thanks to The Path for putting this ride on!

Between the video and all the photo's-the whole essence of the ride definately been captured. I have to say the "original homeless guy of Tustin" sure needed a bath. Thanks to Neil for letting me borrow the camera for a bit. Can't wait for the next one.

George - any chance you could post the mpg of the last 10secs of your vid cos I'd love to mail that vid with him talking about turning water into wine to some mates in the UK!

I'll try and do that during some free time tomorrow. There's actually at least a few minutes more of him. Lots of middle fingers being thrown around and hip thrusts

From the sound of it, seems like there was more people this year than in recent years. I did this ride since '03 and the crowd seemed to dwindle...

Sucks I wasnt up for riding it this year....
