Pools are great for rehabbing a shoulder. If you have access to one you should use it.

Default healing up. slowly

One week later and I'm doing much better. Tuesday I took my arm out of the sling, there's still a ton of pain but it won’t get locked in that position. Next week I have to find a physical therapist, but I'm thinking I actually might need surgery. It's kin of funny, I still have a fat lip, and it hurt's more than my shoulder. Here are a couple pics of my x-rays.

Man, what a bummer... so sorry to hear about that. I was going to call you to see if ya wanted to hook up this weekend. Guess not, eh? I hope you can still ride when you are all healed up. Keep us posted on your recovery, ok?

Positive thoughts your way, bro.

I'd go see an orthpaedic surgeon just to be sure. You don't want to run the risk of making a mild injury worse. In the second pic there is is an artifact below the clavicle. Could be a bone chip, some radio-opaque debris on your skin, or just some junk on the film cassette. Either way, if you've got insurance, might as well have a pro look at it.

Ditto what the rest of the guys are saying about having a PT work with you. Muscle attrophy and reduction in range of motion hit pretty quick.

Good luck with it,
Chris
