Thumbs up Aliso to LCWP NIX - Us Too

Well, as CPATCRASH said, we hit the new trail over to the NIX center also.

Our group was Lacey, Pat, Fergus, Drey, and myself.
Drey had never ridden Aliso, or LCWP, so he was in for a treat.

Our route took us up Cholla, down Stairsteps, up Willow, and over to Stagecoach, to the NIX. Then back up Stairsteps, down Rocket, back to Canyon Vista.
Stairsteps was a fun as usual, with everyone but myself, walking the rocky drop in. After that, they all road pretty much the entire trail.
The Stagecoach trail was fun in both directions! Nice and narrow, although a little loose on some of the edges.
Lacey would find this out the hard way. She said she was riding a really easy section, then all of a sudden her front tire went out from underneath her.
I didn't get to see it, but I did have to straighten her seat back up for her, and tonight she has the bruise's to show for it.
We didn't ride the steep fireroad back over to LCWP, because it was getting pretty warm, and we still had to HAB up Stairsteps.
All in all a fun ride. Pat's GPS had us at 14.23 miles with 2745 ft of climbing.
Here's some pics.....

Talking

We (Fergus and I) almost had the group talked into following you guys up to Five Oaks. Pappi and his upside down good for climbing stem wouldn't have it though.
Next time.....

What's with the "P" line on Rock it?

Lacey charging down the middle and the boys cheating.

Every time I hike up Steps I question my sanity yet I still keep doing it. Last time we started with the hike and I think that's the best way to do it.

At least you question your sanity which tends to suggest that you are in fact sane. I on the other hand, have made several of those same hikes with you including the start with HAB up steps and have never questioned my sanity. What does that suggest?

Indeed I am...I decided that the MKIII (version 2) best fits my riding needs. She's absolutely beautiful. SoCal meet the "WarPony".
