Nice celebration dance after your crash Sarah! When I rode that Thursday I tried it without lowering my seat. I made it but it was sketchy. During CC I walked it reasoning that if lowered then raised my seat to ride it, I wouldn't save any time. That and fatigue I'm glad I walked it.

Nice Vid.

Crap, almost forgot to mention - thanks a lot to Keith for sending me half of the footage. Having multiple angles helped out the vid a lot!

Everybody can ride it but me! j/k. I know you've got mad skills on a mountain bike. I haven't got to see them up close, b/c you're always so far ahead on the downhills ...

dude... nice attempt!!

i considered myself a pretty strong technical rider, but i have yet to attempt that section. i had never seen anyone ride it before CC, a guy rode it while i was walking. i have ridden stuff worse than that before (the entrance to horsetheif bench in Fruita), but i usually opt to walk that section due to fatigue.

i think i have to go for it next time we are up there now that i saw sauce going for it!

I'm not trying to be a show-off ... I am trying to inspire you guys to ride it. See? I am taking one for the team! I try it and fall ... then some of you who haven't tried it and have better tech skills than I will go NAIL it! As long as you fall AFTER the rocks, you'll be fine. It's a total adrenaline rush.

I was kinda worried that sauce hit the back of her head on that rock. Great attitude with that leap for joy!

I'm not sure Sarah could have rolled out of that one any better! That could have been a lot worse if she didn't know how to fall well.

You can't hear it in the video ... but that's what I was yelling about ("I'm learning how to fall!") and getting so worked up over. I can make a victory out of anything.

I am always that happy to be able to stand up after a crash.

Here's the vid as promised. Please be kind as this is my first movie made with Final Cut Express. Yes, that's right. I'm no longer using iMovie and have finally decided to graduate to FCE. Although Final Cut isn't as user friendly as iMovie, it's a whole lot more powerful.

Movie is just about 2 minutes.

Try downloading the k-lite codec pack. It uses the old school windows player but includes tons of codecs so you can play just about anything out there.
