RR: Joplin

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Quick RR on the Joplin Trail. Big thanks to the people who have put in a lot of work on the trail. It is pretty free from brush & the dead fall has been cut away. Even the loose section at the top was bearable. Always a fun trail, & with the repairs was super fast. I always struggle on that nasty scree bank, just a slide fest. [/SIZE][/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]I rode up Maple Springs rather than Harding. I just couldn’t face the grind!! Maple Springs is always harder than I remember! Made it to Joplin in just over 2 hours, which I was stoked with Weather was just perfect after the heat & wind on Saturday. Looked like a lot of people out running the last half of the VQ. Good luck with that!! I had tried to register for, but missed out. I think it sold out in 10 minutes.[/SIZE][/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Any way SST was a blast & it was nice to ride the Luge in daylight for a change. It’s nice to get a bit of rain to pack things down a bit more.[/SIZE][/FONT]
