STJunkie, Burner, Tris, Dwane, Matt and I, met at the JPL Parking lot and road up Brown Mountain to the upper trailhead of Ken Burton. At the top was Han's truck, trailer and a note telling us that he and three other and already headed down. We rode our bikes down for less that a mile and started working. It seems like we went down about two miles but it believe it was less. By the time Matt (Burner) and I had had enough, about noon, we had not got to the slide Hans wanted to work on. Hans and half the crew stayed behind to work for another hour.
Nice day out there and you could actual see downtown LA. I will never complain about hike-a-biking up Stairsteps or Canyon Acres after todays trek back up Ken Burton. Burner had never rode El Preito so we hit that on the way back to JPL. I do not believe that they finished trailwork down to the Gabrielino Trail. Hans is talking about a overnight camping trailwork weekend staying at Oakwilde Campground.

Sorry I missed it guys. I'll make the next one. I even missed the big ride at SART today, due to this dam cold.

I was still wipped today after climbing back up Ken Burton. I played shuttle driver at the end of todays SART ride.
Here is a older picture I found of Ken Buton taken across the canyon on Highway 2. Many switchbacks that drops down into Arroyo Seco. I need to go back and enjoy the work.
