Default I'm an idiot. Lost tools at STT.

Hey anyone find a Park Chain Breaker and Topeak multitool at Cook's, Santiago Truck Trail or the Luge? Lamer me left my tool bag open.

Crap. Anyhow, if somebody found any of the above let me know. I'll be more than happy to treat you to some beers or tacos.

Thanks.

Ah, no worries. Lesson learned for me. But at least it was nice night out there. First couple rides are always the worse tkblazer. I'm sure you were fast going down though!

How was the Vanilla R on the Reign?

Hey TK,

A couple questions for you?

So you have an 2005 Reign? Any clearance problems with that Vanilla R? What stroke and i2i are you using? How did the bike climb? I have a Reign and love the way it pedals on fireroads. But I think it opens up too much on medium bumps while climbing. I also would like a little better cush on the fast small bumps. Anyhow, I'm thinking about putting some big tires on it front and rear and ride it as a fun bike. It'll be a nice change from my sspeed.

go for it dooood! with the vanilla R there is a good amount of room left over in the cage. This was sort of a last resort move since i really wanted to run a rocco tst r or an avalanche shock. I ended up getting the vanilla r on ebay for $80 shipped and picked up a spring for $30. all in all its a sweet shock for the money. i'm not sure how much you weigh, but you are welcome to take on a spin if we ever are on the same ride again.

for tires i'm running a schwalbe big betty 2.4 in the front and kenda nevegal 2.35 dtc's in the back. for all around riding this is pretty much my ideal setup. rolling resistance could be better in the back, but i'd rather have grip then slip. i'm not going to win any xc races anyways so i don't mind it.
