Default Del Cerro Shuttle!!!

A friend and myself will be starting a small shuttle service from the bottom of the trail on PV drive back up to the top. We were just wondering if there was any kind of demand for this or if its a good idea. prices would be about 3-5 $ per person, depending on how many people your party is. we are starting out small so probably no more than 4 people at a time. please respond with your opinion, or suggestions.

well you asked for an opinion so here ya go.

That sounds like a great idea..... to drive the last few nails in the getting bikes banned from that place coffin.

I'm with spooky-d that place is way to close to being shut down to do something like that. if you're going to shuttle go somewhere that you need a big bike. just my 2 cents

As much as ive thought about shuttling that place i have to agree with the other members in thats not the best idea. Plus, a little exercise is good sometimes!!!!

I have only been out there once, but wouldn't it just be faster to just ride back up?

thanks. i guess it would seem pretty sketchy. last thing i want is to irritate the horse riders some more. i live down in the portuguese bend area, at the bottom of the trails. i just wish there was a bus that ran near the entrance, anyways thanks for everyones input. I doubt they can possibly stop bikers from going there. and if they do id still ride them. they cant really build anything here.

thanks

Besides the objections to shuttles you need a business license, a DMV commercial license, and tons of insurance when someone breaks his neck.

My .02...I understand these bikes are heavy, but I RARELY see any "downhillers" there riding their bikes back up the fireroad. Not saying that they all hike it, because I've seen a few ride it. Since you asked, I'd have to say I'd be against a shuttle service at the ciz.
