Default RR: The Luge, extreme huckage

B.O.B. and I did a quick Cooks, Santiago Truck Trail, Luge Loop on our SS's. Her first time on this Loop and I think she likes it. The first time down the Luge is always interesting because it is hard to tell what is around the next bush, Shannon did well and wants more.

Anyway, not enough tough tecky stuff on the trail, so I sessioned a mattress in Cooks parking lot. I am pretty soaked that I was able to clean the mattress and have a wittness on my new found bike skills....I rock!

I hope I can clean a mattress one day. I'm gonna keep training. I'm working on throw pillows right now.

Default Oh yeh

here are a few pics of B.O.B.

We also came up on a group of three deer standing in the trail. They were very curious and let us get pretty close before they spook off.

I just didn't have the courage to clean the mattress. I made a few attemps but chickened out at the last minute. Dean is my hero.

Thanks for the cudo's guys and gals!

I want to point out my skills: look at the perfect position of my cranks apoaching the stepup. That is a power stroke, to get the rear tire up and over. Then on the drop, pedals parallel to the ground as not to pedal strike. SWEET.

I hope it is still there next time a ride out there, I am thinking that I should have wheely droped off as to not damage my chainring. Anyone else have any pics this sweet?

Whoa, Dean! Let me get this straight: Not only did you "clean the mattress" after you "sessioned" it, but as a result you wound up "pretty soaked," in Cook's parking lot, with a "wittness"?!

Dude, "I rock" doesn't begin to touch it .

Nice RR, btw .

As the late and great Howard Cosell would say, " Truly, A sight to see."
Nice job Dean...........when are you going to organize a SS ride, I think we should critical mass a trail- being polite and courteous to others on the trail of course - ala uno speedo. It sounds like just about everyone on STR has a single speed, so lets get everyone out at once
