RR: sunday shuttle

Six of us shuttled Wilson to jpl today. Jeff, Dante, tom2, dano, Jeff's friend and me Tom the Bomb. If you haven't done this ride yet or climbed it to descend you are missing out. 15 miles of sketchy, rocky, ledgey, droppy forested s/t that seems to go on forever.......
Dropped in at redbox at 9:30 a.m. and 38 degrees with traces of snow, brrrrrr. 1/4 mile into the ride flatted front tire in the pointy rocks. It was so cold I couldn't feel my fingers, good thing I could see. Back on the trail jumpin droppin and roosting ,3 others got flats, 31\2 hrs later and a permanent grin on our faces, 3-4 crashes and noooo blood we finish. The only part that was windy was at the top at Red Box everything else was great. I love this traillllll! Felt a little guilty not climbing but it doesn't happen to often.

just because you did 5k+ ft of climbing and pushing doesn't mean you can..... ahh hell who am i to complain about wtf people do
