Yeah, I felt my knee hit hard on the rocks when I went OTB. I was thankful for the knee pads.

It was actually the Warrior's Society that brushed Joplin. While most of us were brushing Holy Jim, some of the back country guys did Joplin. As a rule of thumb, the Warrior's Society works on the Santa Ana Mountains. The only trails we don't really maintain are the fireroads, including the main divide (unless a tree has fallen on them,) San Juan Trail, the Luge and Santiago Truck Trail. SHARE maintains all the county, regional and state parks in Orange County and some of the Inland Empire.
Maxwell has the Push-a-Kona coming up. The Warrior's Society had the same guys who cleaned up Joplin work on Bell. It's in primo shape. I'm really looking forward to the ride/hike-a-bike. I hear you can ride the whole trail and not even get bushed whacked anymore!

Nah, I usually end up with parallel pinch flats that are about 3/4" long. I don't think stans will deal with that. In this case however, stans would have worked well.
