RR: Sedona Day 3

Sauce (Sara) showed up today and due to the weather we rode up Munds Wagon Trail to Cow Pies. It snowed the whole day...getting heavier as the day went on. Give me snow over wind or rain anyday. I never put on my rain gear and did not get cold or wet until the end of the ride...like maybe three hours riding time.

A couple of firsts for Sara...snow riding and slickrock. Wish the picture of her on the slickrock was not blurry but she is just to fast for my shutter speed. Tomorrow I hope is clear because Sedona's Red Rock Buttes were hiding in the clouds today.

Another question my snow bound buddies. Is the slickrock slippery when it gets wet? And I don't care what you say, it looks COLD!!!

The traction is not as good as it is when dry. Once you get the mud off the tires it is very good. Now wet roots and wooden water bars in the trail...snotty!
