Here, I've got a great idea: let's make a better jump out of wood. **** them.

Default Catch up on your reading, we don't ride in a vacuum...

This was private property before it was purchased. There are several groups of stakeholders including equestrians, hikers, and mountain bikers.

"Proposed Portuguese Bend Nature Preserve-- Much of this land is under a development moratorium because of past and current landslides in the area. The PVPLC would like to see it permanently preserved as open space (by purchase or donation) because of its significant ecological importance. The landowners, Palos Verdes Land Holdings Co. (PVLHC) and York Capital Group (YCG) maintain that if portions of the area can be demonstrated to be geologically stable, they should be developable. Applications for a moratorium exclusion are currently under review by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes for the PVLHC properties.

Can they arrest you for building another ramp?

Does anyone know who works on the trail? Is there some sort of MTB club that handles Del Cerro? Now that we're getting some help from nature it'd be a good time to build or at least do some trail maintenance.

i think the area you were talking about is on the otherside over by the light house and that area is closed off ,cause now its a golf course and homes. we used to ride over there all the time ( back in high school).

Rode Del Cerro today. Kinda sucks the ramp is gone but f-it, I think a nice natural lip there will kick ass anyways. And to whomever went through all the jumps and reshaped and added on to the lips, thank you!!! I had a blast today.

That ones pretty much the same but the tabletop on rock jump is much bigger. I boosted twice as high as normal. Kind caught me offgaurd at first.

It's in the 'grand canyon' area. If you're doing slalom you gotta take that one left hand turn instead of going straight.

That whole area is really loose though. Tricky stuff.

At del cerro you kinda need a tour guide the first couple times there. Theres sections there that some of the locals dont even know about.
The second pic of guero going off the ladder is very misleading. Much harder than it looks. I highly recommend not bringing any beginners through the slow or die/badlands area. People can get way in over their heads there.
