I WAS THERE TOO!!! Dayumm, wish I had known, would have looked for you.
We left early, major mechanical probs with the bike (and me with no team)--first John's chain broke, then it stopped shifting, finally, the derailer hanger broke off and the derailer cracked, chain flew off, blah blah blah. Not that it mattered much, solos cancelled the last part of the race anyway (no, I don't ride solo).

The LeMans start is way too long for running in stiff soled shoes thru mud but that's 24, err 9 Hour,racing! Talk to you soon bro!
