Default RR: Mt Elden, Flagstaff, Arizona

Trails: Schultz Creek, Little Gnarly, Upper Brookbank, and Sunset.

Went to Flagstaff to see the Aspens turning color…got there a tad late. The red and orange leafs had changed to yellow, but the yellows were outstanding.

The Mt. Elden trail system is extensive and can get confusing, don’t let its close proximity to Flagstaff fool you…this is a remote area. Flagstaff has got to be one of the best places to live if you are into mountain biking. There are trails that run all around town and the major trail systems are huge and a short bike ride from town. If you are the excursion type, you can take a multi-day/week ride on the Arizona Trail....runs almost the whole lenght of the state. From Flagstaff you can ride 20 some, mostly downhill, miles on an old wagon road to Sedona.

MTB Bill has just added a Video of Mt. Elden from his trip there this summer. The trails are between 8-10,000 ft., so it stays green up there all the time.
