lollllll macs suck because the monitor n computer come in one piece, so when the pos is obsolete, hey, u cant upgrade!! you can throw it all out and buy a new one! hey thanks steve jobs, u jackass
![]() besides that, i grew up with windows, and everyone ive known and liked has had a windows, so i guess im just kinda a windows oriented guy ![]() ps dont worry about it, its not a big deal. im more game oriented, and not buisness or music oriented, so thus windows is my kinda rig |

Windows has alot more programs and options
Macs look pretty ![]() With my line of work a lot of people are on Macs because they say they are superior in image quality. Well, I have used both and I never found a reason to switch to a Mac. The same level of still image and movie editing software is available for both systems. Not all Macs come in one piece the nice systems are upgradeable I still prefer to work on a PC because more people use them and as far as business is concerned PC is still the way to go I sure do love my Ipod though ![]() |

Nice riding. Good job on the video.
Macs are rad. Especially if you like to do creative stuff. I use Windows every day, 8-9 hours a day. Grew up using, it, too. But when I go home it's all about OS X and the Powerbook. Jordansrealm makes a good point - the Mac Pro is a box that you can run with any monitor you want. I'll also add that you don't need to upgrade as often when you're buying top of the line. I'd love a MacBook Pro with Parallels because you can run OS X and Windows XP on the same machine at the same time. The best of both worlds. To each their own, no need to hate on Macs or PCs. We've got bigger fish to fry... like roadies. j/k... |

haha, true, true, well said. thx 4 all the video props guys
![]() ok, but microsoft makes much better "towers" than mac ever will. Cheaper and faster. The user interface may be better, but a lot gets lost on the point you have to ctrl-click instead of right-clicking. I've seen $1000 windows computers made from scratch do way better on just about everything than these incredibly expensive G5's (2500$) macs are for work. windows are for fun. You do know that you can plug in any cheapo 2 button mouse and it'll right click just fine on the mac . . . right? And your'e expensive argument blows too. Find me a Dell with the same parts spec as the Mac Pro (or macbook) and it'll be way more expensive then the Mac. I'm lazy right now but if you'd like I'll throw some links your way proving this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, cause I don't work much with puters, but I thought that most of the bugs/viruses/etc were targeted towards Windows. Not that Macs are better, but Windows is not always the best answer either....Linux or Unix...perhaps you should work this into your arguement?!?!?
![]() But, hey, what was this thread about?
