Default Flightline RR

We had a nice turnout of 12 riders today for Flightline. Kentonn, Dino, Turnerob, Ladd Jasper, McGrath, Chaos, Sleep Dirt, Mike, Spooky Dave, two others I don't recall their names - sorry, and myself. This was the first time here for most of us. Many thanks to Kentonn for playing tour guide. It's a unique place with lots of very cool trails. Someone has done an incredible job building these trails. Not much mileage and nothing too spectacular but it was fun none the less. There were tons of pics and video taken today. Here's a few pics for my contribution.

1 - Kentonn on a teeter totter
2 - A blurry Spooky Dave on a bridge over the river smegma
3 - Sleep Dirt on a ladder drop
4 - Myself on a little squeeze section
5 - Insane Canine Posse on the squeeze section
6 - Dino rollin. (Ken had an awesome nose wheelie turned endo into a bush on his turn. Unfortunately no pics of that)

Good ride today, the amount of work gone into those trails is pretty impressive. The large amount of ladders, bridges, planks, the ladder drop and not to mention all the chicken wire covering the trail shows somebody has put a lot of time and effort into these trails. There is definately some cool stuff out there, worth checking out at least once if you haven't gone yet. I don't really have any pictures, just took a lot of video which we'll work on getting up soon. Nice meeting a few new people also today. Rodel, thanks for letting me take a spin on the HL......hard to get a good feel for the bike when I could only compress that rear end a few inches but it definately didn't pedal like a 40lb bike.

Dean, of course Craig liked the RFX.....afterall it is a Turner

As Rob said, I really liked the RFX today. Today's ride started with some fairly tight switchbacks down the side of a hill and the higher bottom bracket combined with longer wheelbase took a little getting used to but after that I easily adjusted to it. The bike climbs amazingly well for the weight. It's very confidence inspiring in more technical areas and launching. It's a keeper for sure.

My pleasure! Thanks to everyone that made the ride. I had a lot of fun riding today. Of course, Karl's was icing on the cake...

Btw, I am kinda feeling the results of the nose wheelie now.

That was a fun ride today. Aways nice to ride new dirt and meet new people. No kidding about the work that's gone into those trails. Every thing there was built really well.
Cool place, sad to know it's going away.

Thanks Kentonn for putting this one together.

Great ride today guys! Ken, thanks again for being our tour guide and coming back to look for me after my little mech problem. Good to meet some new faces... Bret, Patrick, Ken and Mike... I forgot the other 2 guys in our group [sorry!]. Those are some pretty cool trails, wish the DH sections were a bit longer though. None the less some good fun down there. The heat wasn't to bad thank god as there wasn't much shade. Here's a few of the photos from my camera.
1-3] Rob, Bret and Dell on the titter-totter.

Craig on a roller, then on the ladder drop.

Fun times, guys. Lots of good stuff out at Flightline, clearly there are a few who really take pride in the place and have put a lot of work into upkeep and improvements. Hopefully some will be spared the bulldozers...

Thanks to Kentonn for the tour and the show stoppin' nose-wheelie. Just awesome. Good to meet some new folks, too.

Karl's was the perfect wrap up, dig that brown ale.

Very fun ride yesterday! Kentonn, thanks for showing us around this area! Like the others said, someone really put an amazing amount of work into these ladders/bridges/stunts. Rodel, very cool pictures, and it was nice meeting you along with the others whom I haven't met before or ridden before.

Dale, I wanna hear more about this upset stomach thing!!!
