Looks like your front tire came down a little to fast on the landing, Sauce. But you pretty much nailed it. Good riding. Gonz, you should have waited a day or two and watch how bad those scrapes scab all up. Then it would be real picture worthy.

George,

Did ya get to use that first aid foam on those scratches? Glad you're ok man, looks like you'll be sore for the next week.

Sauce, way to go for the ramp jump. Very nice.

Haha actually I did use it. Sarah was kind enough to pump some of it on my arm but it ran out and couldn't do the torso. Gotta go out and buy some more. And yeah I'm already getting pretty sore, especially my hip. Hopefully I can ride this weekend.

Speaking of . . . how's your leg doing?

Cool, I still say that foam stuff stings and hurts like hell. I did go out and buy some though =).

The leg is doing great. I've been peeling the scabs off and keeping it moist with neosporine or vitamin E. We rode the Mammoth Bike Park last weekend and it didn't bother me at all. We're going to Vegas this weekend. I'm gonna bring the bikes and hit Bootleg Canyon. Anybody been there before? Got any recomendations?

Are you doing XC type stuff or going for the DH stuff? Either way the terain is not forgiving(lots of lava rock). May want to take the pads. There are also some good trails near the Red Rock area as you come into town. All the XC stuff is good. I remember Mother and Caldera were both good trails. Looks like they've updated thier website also.

i sucked on that jump! hahaha! i needed to pull up on the bars and bunny hop a bit ... ooops.

i did vegas recently. the las vegas cyclery sells some awesome maps of some trails out there that they helped build and mark. I did some of 'em -- nice. you should check it out. the shop has a website ... they aren't too far from the strip. the name of the trails slips my mind at present (just went riding -- i'm brain dead)

Thanks for the info. We're gonna hit the XC stuff and I may try out a DH trail. I'll defniitely bring the pads, hopefully it won't be too hot.

You landed and didn't go over the bars. That's what counts. Thanks for the info. I'll check out mtbr for some lbs info.

The DH stuff out there will make the oaks look real wimpy. If Ginger does not put the fear of god in you then ya must be dead.
