All the pics are of me, regardless of what dirty might say. The drop has been given heights from 10 to 15 feet. I would say 15 is pushing it, but I personally wouldn't want it any bigger.

Thanks George, I'm still trying to figure out how to do the photos.

Well your photos are up just fine with titles and stuff -- you have it pretty much figured out. One tip: if you want to post a photo from the album in a post, go to that photo's page in the album. Scroll down to where it says "UBBCode:" and copy and paste that code into a post. It'll show up.

The 3 pictures that look a lot darker are on A River Runs Through It, a pretty popular trail on the valley floor. The rest are all in the park.

Those pics are DOPE man! Nice

How do you like the Fox 40? I can't really decide what or which fork to put on my big bike... Do you have it set to 8"? Do you happen to know if the fork will still be as active/plush if you adjust the travel internally?

Thanks, I'm glad you like the pics. Lovin' the 40. It's set at 8", never run it any other way. I've ridden boxxer's, 888's and a Dorado, nothing comes close to the performance of the 40 for the type of riding I do. I recently spent a day riding on the new boxxer World Cup, and was pretty surprised at how good it felt compared to older boxxer's. The Dorado I used to have was the MRD X Works with SPV, I really liked it when it wasn't spewing oil everywhere, which seemed like every 2 weeks. Last year at Whistler, I rode on 888's, and they scared me to death. I'm sure if I spent more time setting them to my liking it could've been a little better, but I personally would not drop the coin on them.

I picked up an '05 888RC for $570 (brand new) for my AS-X, only have a few rides on it but so far I'm very happy with it. Most people know I'm pretty picky when it comes to my bikes/suspension and the 888 feels really good to me right out of the box. No offense Rodel, but spending all that coin on a 40 would probably be a waste.

Oh I hear you Rob... but those 40mm stancions are so pimp . I would really like an adjustable/on the fly[preferably] fork so I can still ride the HL locally when I wanted to punish myself. Did you get the one with the taller crowns? Since you climb like a billy goat it doesn't matter much for you, me on the other hand.... well it would leave the bike as a shuttle bike and I really don't want that...

Dino... I WANT to go pretty big.. not Red Bull big but like jfromlv in the above pic. 8-10ft to tranny... but IF and WHEN that every happens who knows. I think one of the long travel single crown forks would work and be plenty if had the skill and smoophnicity of some of you huckers but I don't. I guess for the time being the equipment will have to make up for my lack of technical skill.

Yeah mine has the stock "tall" crowns, however I got the 170mm version of the fork and the geometry isn't that bad at all. I was actually able to clean all three b's at Santiago Oaks on the AS-X which weighs just under 40lbs. If adjustable travel is mandatory then perhaps a Totem would fit the bill. The new 888 w/TAS seems interesting also, but obviously both of those forks have yet to prove themselves.

The Lyrik is not a big enough fork for his Highline, although it seems like the Lyrik/Totem are getting great initial reviews.
