yep i did the palos verdes fireroad yesterday morning and bypassed a little single track....the trail that starts where crenshaw dead ends up on the crest of the hill....IVE NEVER DONE THIS TRAIL! the veiws were awesome!....ive been growing up going to palos verdes since i was born, and have never discovered this trail....well i went all the way down close to the pv drive west street. but the climb back up SUCKED ASS! it took almost 2 hours back up to the truck...i had to walk my bike almost the whole way because im hella weak. anyone have any info on this trail and how to get to the other singletrack around there? who else has done this fireroad? going down was fun and fast but the climb was hell....thanx errbody.

There are at least 4 fun singletracks that you could have taken down instead of the fireroad. When we go (mainly me, Bret, and Matt) we only use the fireroad to climb back out. Takes us 15/20 minutes to climb back out and we usually do 3 or 4 "laps". Two of the singletracks that branch off that fireroad are fairly technical and loose. One's called badlands and the other slow or die. One is a fun twisty singletrack called slalom. Another I forget the name but is also fun - has some jumps sprinkled throughout it and a small wooden jump. Once you learn the trails there it's a really fun place.

lol, had to say that too. if you want, you should meet up with us, i usually ride it tuesday and thursday around 6:30 pm, i'll show you the good stuff eh....the fireroad can be tough at first but next thing you know you'll be middle ringing it with me, gonz and vondeezy.

haha no biatches im not a pothead!....i dont think ben stiller said it like that but hehe, yeah im totally down for a short ride in the sunset....the views are crazy nice up there....where are the singletracks to take down instead of the fireroad? i saw the little 'playground' right off the fireroad like 600 feet down from the gate, and a little more off to the left under the water tower, that stuff was nice to ride today, i feel like i learned a lot more of what was out there earlier today.

yeah i saw all three of those drops in line together....sure you want me to hit that on a hardtail w/out a motorcycle helmet?......that looks scetchier than anything ive ever done probably.

has anyone hit the two or three bigass drops there??

this is one of my fav local spots there is also some north shore that someone has built which is pretty sick

let me know if anyone wants to plan a ride up there
