Thanks, Pat. Missed you out there eh. Pretty comical.

Was feeling a bit rusty all morning as I hadn't been on the "big" bike in almost a month. No excuse, really, just an observation. Somewhat hesitant on Oaks, but was getting loosened up by the end. Felt pretty strong on the climb up Cholla, but again, the descent on Steps didn't feel as natural as times past. Didn't let that stop the upper huck attempt on T&A, though it should've.

As Dino mentioned, the take-off looked good (there's a video!). The bounce upon landing is what did me in. That, and way too much speed. I was flying compared to Rob, the one guy who cleaned it beautifully. Will keep that in mind the next time I skip that huck.

The wounds could definitely have been worse, and will heal. Pretty sore right now (mostly sunburn from going shirtless...loser), but the tequila is nipping that as I write. Fifteen minutes and I should be numb. Yes!

Had a good time today, been way to long since I'd ridden that loop w/ the boys. Just wanted to say thanks to same for looking out for me after the kissing of the cactus, particularly Aldo "The Pharmacist" (and concerned videographer), and George "Nightingale" Gonzo. Appreciate it, fellas.

Dave, good meeting and riding with you today--sorry for nixing your own huck attempt with my face plant (you too, Mark...what a buzzkill, eh?).

Fully Loop next week, right? Definitely more my speed right now. Need to re-hone my skills, such as they are. Might skip that mega-extreme wall drop, though...

I do agree with Outlaw in the fact that with all of those crashes all that happened were some scratches and that's about it......could have been much worse. Von Skipp took a couple of pretty hard falls, sure he'll be feeling it more tomorrow. Hope you guys heal up quickly in time for the ultimate Fullerton Loop ride next week! I should have my 888 mounted up to my AS-X by then, thank god as I know I'll need all that travel

Maybe bruised it? Does it hurt when you breathe?

Alright kids, here's the video. This fine piece of entertainment was brought to you by iMovie and I.

17.3mb in mpeg4 format <- right click and save as. If you can't or don't want to download and can live with slightly downgraded video, here's a youtube link.

If you windows users have trouble, download this and install it. This media pack will let you play almost any media format out there.

Nice job, Gonz. Bummed I didn't land anything yesterday ('cept my face), but all that huckin' was beautiful.

The bloody mug was a nice touch. Man, looks like that must've hurt!

Damn...good vids and posts, but sorry to hear about all the devestation...

About now I'm thinking that I'm glad I slept though "The Legendary Laguna ride"...

Hope you cats heal up. Dell, you might want to try duct tape (available at your nearest Home Depot), or some glue. Shit, I'd even try throwing some silicone (or glue of your choice) on the location of thorns, let that stuff dry, and peel off. Hopefully you get them all.

Love the video and photos. Props to you guys who attempted a stunt and to Dell for sticking it out. I know after a hard crash, I seem to crash the rest of the ride. Somehow, the confidence just goes out the door. How was the landing at the top of T&A's huck? Last time I did it, (3 mths ago), it was pretty loose. The dirt was almost like sand and lot's of little rocks all over the place. It was a tough landing to stick.

I'm trying to talk Ann (SlowSpokes) into joining you guys for Sunday's Fullerton Loop ride.
