Default RR: CWP to Marshall 6/10

Amusement Man, phattyre, Khai, and myself met at CWP for the ride this morning. Conditions were perfect for a morning ride. We climbed up Burbank to the top and took the left that takes you to the singletrack that drops you into Marshall. There was a lot of traffic with equestrians and fellow mtnbikers on the trail this morning but had a blast on the dh as usual. We decided to slow it down a bit on the dh because of the traffic. We then made the trip back to Mills via Baseline to Thomson Creek trail. This part of the ride seemed to be the hardest since it's mostly uphill and our bikes and clothes were covered with mud spots from the creek crossings. No crashes or anyone hurling on the trails to speak of. Overall, it was a fun ride.

Very cool! I personally steer clear of Marshall on the weekends because of the congestion on the trail, unless it's super early in the AM.

Frank... drove in to see if you guys were there at 7:30 since I had a job down the street and couldn't believe the amount of cars there . Guess there's some advantage to our weekday rides... see ya allzzz at the Monday night ride. Yea...that last trek back is pretty boring too...eh. Be doing that loop Sunday eve ??
Jason...have some fun DH today?? See ya all soon...

Weather was perfect this morning, got in 6 runs at Fontana. No crashes, no mechanicals, life is good. I'm hoping to make it our Monday night.

Thumbs up Fun ride.......good meeting you all.

This was a fun ride in spite of the traffic. It was great meeting you guys and gal. Have to do this again maybe a different spot with less horses, hikers and less boring street ride to return to the start point.
