Congratulations rider-x, for posting your face riding a closed trail. But that's ok, if you made it that far you've already been photographed at least three times. The rangers have quite the hefty photo album going.
Talking about doing this is one thing, but this...? ![]()

This guy is bad, no riding in closed areas. You ruin it the rest of us.

What an asshole.
Would've been really f'n hard to wait another 27 more days, wouldn't it? But no, they're that much more important than the rest of us and don't have to wait...sometimes i forget, if you're more important that the rest of us morons that actually respect the restrictions, well than it's ok... Just to make it unequivocably clear...if you're the one riding in that picture, or if you've been riding the closed stuff at all while the rest of us wait, you're an asshole. Period.

IF that is the Luge, then that is not a recent picture. The grass and ground cover has already began to grow at the Luge.

Not 24 more days. They've postponed opening anything except a couple fire roads until......wait they actually never said when everything else will open which probably means never. Ride it while you can because slowly all that stuff is going to get closed....for our own good. [rolleyes]

"Where did you find the pic, just curios if the person actually posted it."
It was off STR, today. The photo was labeled 'The Luge', and yes, I agree - it looks like it was taken not long after it was closed.

You seriously think Santiago and the Luge are going to be closed forever? With as intense as that fire was, give it a little rest and quit thinking just about yourself. -edit: even if it's not recent doesn't make it any better. If it's closed for fire, respect it. I don't agree with a lot of the closures that go on in the various parks around here, but fire damage is a little different than a land manager or head ranger's whim.

1. That's an old photo. My guess is it was taken within two weeks of the fire.
2. Rumor has it EVERYTHING except Harding will re-opened on November 9th. 3. My guess is Cooks Corner is going to be full of mountain bikers come the evening of November 9th. ![]() |

I'm going to cry. How can we bail out those nasty banks, but leave yummy iced animals cookies out to die? It's just not right
