That group photo showed only some of the STR riders there - it was insane how many of us there were.[/quote]

my posse preordered tics n 1 of em was jacked up so we missed the "big" shoot" getting it fixed but we were hard pressed to find anyone that wasn't affiliated w/str during the coarse of the day (saturday). anyone besides us do those sick drops off the lower side of velocity?

I'm not sure who it was staying the village that yelled down to the two drunk girls having a fight on the street to "shut the f@#$ up". My thanks go out to you. You gave us all a laugh and a good (rest of) the night's sleep.

I crash in good company... because I ride in good company! Don't know about the "pretty stars" bit though

No major injuries here, just a swollen elbow, bruised hip, and a tweaked upper back (from today's crash on Bullet). Right now I'm pumped on Vitamin I and doing well, but today's was probably my worst crash in quite a while. Second rock garden on Bullet, a line I've ridden cleanly at least 15 times this season, and it got me on the last day.

Just got to Vegas, got selleted, and my pics are now uploading. Video will take a while, since I'm gonna be pretty busy this week.

I had a great time riding with everyone today, Nikolas, Bryan, SocalRidur, Stinkyrider, HappyGilmore, and the rest of the crew.

Thanks for the memories!

I was up there all weekend and only recognized one person in the 4th floor hallway in white mountain. Great time though. It took me all weekend to man-up the flow drop, I finally hit it about 4:00 yesterday. I might be the last rider to hit that drop for the season.

Thumbs up Good Friends, Great Trails, Good Times!!!

Where to start????? Departed Riverside at 3am on Friday morning with J_Sims and Mullarks in tow. Met up with Winston and Doublewide at Jack's in Bishop for breakfast then on to the mountain!! Sorry no pictures for me on Friday, my battery was dead. Hopefully Winston will post some up.

Went to Mammoth Mountain Inn to check in to find out that they had oversold so they had to move us to the Village and they put us in a 2 bedbroom condo (the biggest one in the entire complex). Oh, darn......Dinner at Angels with friends to celebrate Roger's Birthday then off to bed to rest up for the STR gang member extravaganza on Saturday.

Saturday 8am, hanging out to see just how many STR folks show up for the group photo. The Gondola was supposed to open at 8:30 but didn't get going until 9am. So 8:30ish we line up for the photo. Can't remember what the head count was. I think it was about 1/2 of the whole group.

Did a warm up run on Velocity, then a 2nd one so we could take photos and session the fun stuff. After that we split up in small groups and had a blast.

Headed to dinner at Giovanni's and everytime we turned around, someone else showed up. We started with 10 and ended up with 3 tables and about 20+ people. The poor waitress didn't know what to do!!!

Sunday we decided to head up and meet a few friends and do some long rides including some pedaling (on DH bikes of course) since Friday and Saturday were all about gravity riding.

My highlights:
  • Watching all you huckers!!!!! Jeff is my hero and has since been renamed Mr. Huctastic!!!! Andy showed us how to ride the waterfall on a small bike (you are amazing).
  • Beating everyone down Kamikazee (while singing "What a girl wants.....what a girl needs")!!!
  • Scaring the crap out of Happy Gilmore when trying to pass him on Skid Marks.
  • Riding with Lynn and Ann and being grateful for girls that like to go fast!!! (Lynn, sorry about not hooking up with you on Sunday for the test ride).
  • Hanging with some of my best homies and enjoying life!!!!!
P.S. I took a few photos which I will upload later.
