Default Super Secret DH Club - Meeting #2

The Super Secret Downhill Club held its second meeting at an undisclosed location. In total, we did four great runs. There were two crashes and three flats.......luckily, we all escaped without any major carnage. A big thanks to Nancy for organizing the event Can't wait until the next meeting!

My pleasure! I am sitting at home feeling like a truck ran over my chest! Thanks goes out to everyone who helped me today, from fixing my flat and helping me out after my crash. You are like the brothers I never had!

Definitely looks that way in the pic, but Troy landed that perfectly in the transition.

Hit the small ladder drop on the way out and overcleared it (I think). I knew in the air I was too far forward and when I hit the front end went sideways. I remember hitting my head and knocking the wind out of myself (very scary, have never had that happen before). I ended up with a road rash from the top of my right shoulder down to my elbow and my sternum feels like a truck ran over me. Andy yes, I had my chest protector, elbow and knee pads.

I'll have Rog take a picture and I'll post it.

Steve - you'll have to join us one of these days, however you probably wouldn't need to shuttle up.....would be a treat to ride with you again!
