Default Taco Tuesday Grand Finale
Tonight we hit record numbers. The count was 37 at the parking lot. We had a total of 14 tables at the Fish House and was definitely the biggest crowd yet. We had 2 tandom Ellsworths. Joel and Robin cleared the Eucalyptus Grove without a dab. I discovered an easier way to take photos without having to hold onto the handlebars. That thing has too much squish for my motion control but love the pics of Freekengo on the ride home. I finally have a great shot of KidA and a very Happy Birthday to him. Good to see you make it for the final run. I took a record number of pics with a total of 87. The question of the night is what is next? Looking to do some Black Star night rides in October. Tim at the Fish House will lose his stinky funky bunch orders of beer, tacos and mudpie. For now, the season has come to a close and thank you to everyone who shared such great summer fun. See you in the spring

37 riders? Wow. That must have been a sight.

I'm bummed I've never been able to make this ride. Even though I live smack dab between the Fish House and the park gate, my Tuesday rides are just a hurry-up lap before dinner with the family. Thanks for coming by and visiting the neighborhood park, and for supporting our local establishments. Having places like the Fish House start up and gain a regular crowd has been cool to see, after a decade of businesses moving out (RIP Goldmine Yogurt ). I'm more likely to visit on Kids Eat Free Wednesday, though. Which might be a cool idea for another ride...

It was good to meet everyone out there! Special thanks to Kell and Nan. My Tuesdays won't be the same for the winter months to come. What the heck am I supposed to do on my tuesdays now? I suppose that it would be good to start going on longer rides with my lights so that I can prep myself for the CC or VQ for '09......... It won't be as much fun though without you guys..... Until the next season of Taco Tuesday!

ps. Damn! I need to lay off of those mud pies for a while. Looking at the picture, I look like a Asian rolley polley......... At least it was a motion shot. Nan, I'm glad that your camera survived the Freek shot...

Damn I missed the final ride too! Work work work....when does it ever end? At least I got enough bikes but not enough time to ride them.

Oh well.....how about a tuesday night Blackstar night ride that starts late so I can make it?

The "Taco Tuesday Grand Finale" was great fun. I'm glad to have been able to attend the last two rides, as it's always nice to ride with such a fine group of fellow STRs. Thanks Nan and Kelly... what started out as a small ride amongst friends has turned into a popular Tuesday evening event that many will miss.

How about in a couple of weeks we'll start hitting Blackstar at 6:30? I know it's late but that's as early as I can make it.

I want to be able to hit the gate sub 1 hour one of these days.
