Default Limestone Canyon

Docent lead slow and easy ride in Limestone Canyon proved to be the delight of Orange County. Yes it was slow, almost as slow as Taco Tuesday with less hills. So separate from the traffic of many of our trails, the canyon felt timeless with many legends waiting to be told. The Santiago fire left its mark, with the much of the land in recovery. The views were there for the counting. We were visited by a very bold arachnoid and returned as the sun retired.

All bike rides are free but you must register. Visit www.irvineranchwildlands.org and click "Let's Go Outside"

Default Agreed!

Dusty,

Went on the Docent led night ride last evening and with the full moon it was an absolute delight. We did a couple sustained climbs and some great single track. Definitely a treat for sure! I plan to get there in the day for a Docent led ride to see some of the great geological features we couldn't really see in the dark... We could see "sinks" though and that was truly amazing!

Great photos, we sure had an enjoyable ride! It was the first time Shorty and I have been in Limestone, and I was surprised by its beauty and wildness. We'll have to do one of those night rides out there.

Thanks for sharing Dusty. So many rides, so little time. I'll have to make it a point to sign up for one soon. Your pics are always awesome.
