But it's true, great work fred. That main was a really great race. That cruiser class is so competitive it's always a good race too

I got home from Vegas early tonight.Could still see the lights on from the 55.I was going to stop by,but....I did not.Way to go Fred for what ever it is you did.Did You do it dressed as a Pirate?

Qualified 1st in the 1st moto, (it wasn't pretty at the end) which gave me a much needed rest since I've ridden something every night this week. In the main, I got a decent gate. Tom McCormick blew up at the start, and I had a pretty good run to the first corner. Dave and I got out clean. Everyone else was fighting over "the line". I had the third straight all worked out in my head. I knew what I wanted to do regardless of my position. Well, my left foot came un-clipped as I pedalled out of the 2nd turn, and all hell broke loose. I would almost get clipped in, and then hit the next jump, only to lose my footing again. It was not pretty and I've been branded loose cannon, bull in a china shop, controlled chaos, accident that just wouldn't happen, etc. But, bad as it looked, I didn't go down (thank God). I think I finally got it back in going through the last turn. I pumped through the rhythm section for 2nd. I'm honored to be racing with such a great bunch of guys. I can't wait for Randy (teamDEKEbmx) and Lee to show up. I need more lessons....

Not only can the guy wear a pirates outfit, kilt and bib like none other..........the dude can kick @$$ on the BMX track! Can't wait to watch you race, Fred! You going to be there again next Friday?

Sorry that I haven't been able to make it to the track. For one reason or another, I haven't been able to make it to the track for two weeks. Again, I had plans on going to Orange last night, but I got stuck at work until about 9:00 pm, while our IT dept was replacing the hard drive in my computer for my two week trip to Japan (leave on Sunday). It looks like I'll be the one who'll be schooled when I get back. I hope to go to Orange on my first day back (Friday, Aug 29), but at that point, I'll have been up for over 36 hours, so I'll get my butt handed to me.

I just got back from doing an animal thing at the element skate camp in sequoia and was still recovering

Did any of you see my little protege cameron rockin his brand new zebra intense ? he got first in 11 novice

I actually do think i saw your buddy there. I was talking to his family (or someone of some affiliation) while i was waiting for general practice to start. He was doing pretty good too from what I saw
