Nice pics..we saw you guys at the parking lot...we were just starting up when you finished and we got to say hi to Justin and Allison. I think Chris found your missing cleat bolt on the trail...that guy has eyes like a hawk. I too felt sick on the ride...weird. Wasn't pushing it too hard and it wasn't that hot, but on the upper loop I completely bonked. I don't think I had enough food or fluids in me.

Nice RR Steph. Hope you're feeling better. When we hiked up the Luge for the trail work around 7:30am, it was already really humid. Then OMR, KWH & I did a loop at Whiting after trail work and it was kinda hot with no breeze. Probably really hot where you guys were too. That'll suck the energy out of you. Nice job carrying on.

dang...you know that is one of those things that you forget to check every now and again.

after stalling on that rock i made an unsuccessful attempt to clip out. the cleat completely shifted under the shoe. it was unfortunate that i happened to dive into a 4 foot hole full of rocks...ouch!!

so the moral of the story is....tighten the bolts on your cleats every now and again!

Hope you're ok after that crash. I started using loctite on my cleat bolts after a friend lost a cleat bolt on a ride at Hurkey Creek.
