Default Mt. Pacifico biking, camping

With the nasty air lately, it was time again to find a way out of town for the weekend. I joined Scott (STjunkie), Dean (Dstepper) and Mat (Burner) for a bit of camping and fireroad biking up at Mt. Pacifico (elevation 7093 ft).

I need to thank Scott for the lift as I doubt my car would clear the dips and small exposed rocks on the way up. Wow, what a spot! Fresh air and cities views far below. My Survivorman camping spot was great, too.

No ride review, but here are a few pictures from and nearby the campground.

Thank you guys and Kaiser for joining me, these weekend camp-outs in the Gabs feels like a mini vacation.

This has been my method of choice of riding the San Gabs this summer. A nice evening ride, camp, morning ride; two rides, save gas, no riding in the heat...excellent....

I'll have to make it out to Roundtop and Granite mountains sometime. Today wasn't the day for that though.

I was thinking about you guys all day today. My knee is screwed up. I wouldn't have been able to ride much. Crashed today at Chilao and landed on the sore knee.
