Talking Do you know the way to Taco Tuesday?

If you come from the west you will travel east on Chapman, go up the hill and congregate at the Fish House. The ride commences up Newport to Canyon View arriving at Peter's Canyon main entrance. Tonight we had some noob and out of towner join a relatively small ride of 10. Joel was explaining to Mary that he does not even log this ride because it is so short. You will see in the photo's his utter boredom. Willie seems to always get in front of the camera and blames it on my paparazzi skills and has given me a new name of PAPs. We finish the ride in the traditional manner with tacos at the Fish House with "our guy" who helps set us up with tables and bonzer service. We complete the meal for the first time with Mud Pie, my oh my...there were 6 forks...and then there were none.

Great shots as usual Nan! I Like all of the different themes that you're using.

It was great meeting new riders. It's always good to meet new people with common interests.

Man, riding on the DH tires that I mounted up for the ride up at Big Bear felt like I was draggin a boat anchor behind me for this ride. Still made it through though!

On my final note, I was actually able to stay away from the 4th taco with the moral support from Pam! Thanks!

On a different note, what's up with Pam's "seig heil" pose in the picture????

Great ride, everyone! It's nice to try a different trail than the usual Fully Loop that's a few hundred yards from my house. The runner that wanted us to stay on the "right" tried to slap my butt and missed. Maybe she wanted to get my digits! O_O

I'm surprised to have cleared Big Red; it looked so daunting from that break spot!

Thanks....yeh it's been one of those years between colds and crashes (jeesh)...I guess when you're out doing what you love it'll happen....but I'll never regret it!!! (Ok maybe keeping the rubber side down could help...) Sorry I've been MIA lately...I hope to get back on track asap.

Hey girl, your absence was definitely felt. Keeping the rubber side down takes some practice and practice makes perfect. Which begs the question; Are you ready for perfection?

Freekengo did amazing on his DH.
Elmo survived the hostility of the runner.
Jesse, we did not have anyone to pick on, get better soon.
What about Trizz and his wife, just because you went on vacation and moving soon, you still have to ride. Missed you too.

if no one can prove that a large mythical creature shrouded in folklore lives in the woods, does it really exist?
