Default Bellflower BMX 7/7/08
Thanks AGAIN to everyone at the Bellflower BMX track for making "The Mountain Biker's" feel more than welcomed...

Good shot of Kevin Harlow (FB rider #8 ). For those who saw Ricky's thread about doing slingshots out of the gate should watch Kevin's gate. He nearly slings back to the staging area! I think he may even have three pedals in before the gate drops! Kevin is one of the coolest guys on and off the track. Kevin's in his late 40s, but he'll give anyone on the track of any age a run for thier money. I've looked up to Kevin since way back in the 80s. And to this day, he still offers me a lot of useful advice.

Kevin Harlow is SCARY good!

"Mr. Harlow" is one of the best riders on the track- that much we know.
With regard to his starts: words can not describe how POWERFULLY explosive they are.

It was a fun night for the most part. That track is way different then the Y. I think I actually like it a lot better. It seems like it has a better flow for me except for that one little bump before the last jump. I kinda took it easy as I didn't want to come back and go right back to being hurt.

They tried to take a pic of the new bike before it went on its maiden voyage, but for whatever reason, the super fancy camera with the telephoto lens that could take cool action photos couldn't take a still pic of a bike.

By the way, Fred has christened her Track S!ut because she was ridden by a lot of folks last night...And she didn't even come home with me...

But I'm still going to keep her cause she was THAT good...
