Default BFlo Test Rides Perris

Test Rider: BFlo.
Test Subject: Tius El Guapo Ti.
Test Trail: Misc. Horse trails surrounding Lak Perris.

Summary: Around 9AM, my mom dropped my off at the entrance to the Lake Perris recreation area. My plan was to take t at my own pace on the El Guapo, and just cruise around to get an idea of how the bike rode. I didn't plan on going fast since its been awhile since i have done any ride that one could consider an XC ride.. Let alone this bike had 2.5 inch DH Tires on it. I started ou and jumpedon the first trail i saw, and rode it for awhile. I came up on a nice Huge Rock Garden, and played around in it for awhile, before continuing on... There were a few rock rollers of good size, and some decent rock drops and jumps. The bike was set up for Devin (Strobelite), so it was super stiff for me, since he has around 100 pounds on me and he is taller. I didnt bother messing with the suspension, i just rode it the way it was. I noticed right away that the bike pedaled great. It made it seemed as if it needed a bigger front chainring. The trails were Super sandy in most sections, but seemed easy due to the fact i was running the 2.5 inch tires that looked like they were 3 inches wide. I had a few good uphills, as well as the great, short DH sections, which made for a fun ride. The suspension on the DownHills worked great. I noticed it was very active and very noisy to me, but very progressive, and while the rubber gauge thing on the shock barrel showed me that i had bottomed it outsomewhere on the ride, i never felt anywhere near bottoming the bike out. The suspension was active on the small bumps also, but it wasnt at plush, i would say on the smaller spaced out bumps, but it handled ruts and braking bumps, or horse tracks, perfectly. Through the turns, it held its line and wanted to go faster and faster through the flowy switchbacks. This bike even racked through the rutted and rocky climbs. Overall, i would give this bike a 9 out of 10 rating as a do-it-all Bike.

Nice. Those ti guapos are pretty friggin sexy. I demo'd one awhile back and wow was it smooth...wrong size for me though, so it was a little wonky for me

I also tried a carbon racerX which I apparently cracked too The guy from titus was cool about it though, since it was a demo bike and all.

Sounds like a great ride. I've been meaning to go explore out there. I'm curious how long did you ride? I always thought there wasn't much out there but your description and pictures makes it look like I might've misled. Thanks.

i rode about 2 hours give or take..
it was actually really fun.... i would say good super d training, as there are short sprinting hills, then short DH sections, and you can loop a track together..
i thought it was fun, and i will definitely be doing it when i come to my moms

yup, we got those secret trails out here. since you're at lake perris, were you able to find the section where you end up at the dam? you start where some rock climber climb that huge rock face. its hidden, at the top you're overlooking the dam and the river.

well, my mom lives in moreno valley, 3 miles northwest ish from the lake, so i stayed on the west side mostly, and didnt go too far on the south side..
i plan to explore more but i dont go to my mothers house too mcuch. i was surprised at all the small and fun trails there, though
