Default Santa Rosa Plateau Vid

Well...during yesterday's recovery ride I decided to take out the camera that I received for Christmas (nice camera...been collecting dust). I shot out to the Santa Rosa Plateau to take it easy and figured I would play around with some different shots.

Anyway, today I decided to up the cheese factor and compile it into a nice (lame) little video!

Enjoy!

I like it! Not lame at all. Nice to see the set-up shots and not all handlebars for a change. Thanks.

Very cool video. Makes me want to get out there this weekend. If you ever make a video of the Stevenson trail loop @ Santa Rosa make sure to post a link so others can see how cool it is.

Thanks Luke,

excellent image quality.

Lets do a shoot on the decent at Vail or Hurkey sometime.

Two to four riders all with helmet cameras on an interesting decent could be a blast to film.

Tony (mr.hobbs) and I did our super cheesy You-tube video at San Clemente. We had bad camera angles and poor quality but had a good time filming and gave us another reason to ride (as if we needed one).

Well, if ya get four cameras you should do two helmets one forward one back, one on a tripod(or rock/ground) and one under the bottom bracket facing backwards. Should make for some interesting editing.

Where was the camera on your opening sequence (showing your front tire and the trail)?

Also, the one shot where you look at the camera, was this on the handlebars?

Just curious.

all the riding shots were done one handed....i held the camera right in front of my belly button for most of the shots. the only way to fly!!

Great job, it's amazing what some good editing and tunes can do to a "recovery" ride. I was stoked watching it!

I liked all the slow motion downhill shots!

Waitaminute... those weren't slo-mo?!?!

As others have mentioned, I liked the set up shots (panning done in post, yeah?) mixed in with your helmet/hand held belly button work.

A good mix of different kinds of shots, and wall-ah -- you got a cool llittle vid there!!
