Ive ridden San Juan twice before but because of time restraints have never done the upper loop. The upper loop is killer! Before I thought San Juan was an OK trail but after adding the upper portion this is for sure one of my faves. Im almost tempted to say I enjoyed this about as much as Noble.
What a killer ride, from now on the upper loop is a must. Next time I think I will do the upper loop in the other direction. Sorry, no pics. Just stoked on a good day of riding. Great weather, trail is in awesome shape. We got out at 7am and were done about 10am. Good times. |

Yea the upper loop is awesome. Its has the most technical sections and most of it is canopied. The section between Blue Jay campground and the loop is also worth checking out the next time you go out. Its also really fun!
