It's some rugged and steep stuff out there so i don't think it will disappoint at all . I'm really happy about this since i'm not too far away. I may consider getting a DH rig instead of the mountain tandem

NICE JOB for those who persevered for this...that's awesome news !! Baldy's my playground ...I'm definitely up for some shovel work ....and hittin' the Lodge after . Hope to meet some of the STR peeps up there...

baldy has great riding, the park is going to be cool! i was up there 2 rains ago, the dirt was awsome, rode into the snow at the top!

Right on! Wasnt the guy's name who was heading this up "Ciaran" or something like that? Kudos to him for keeping the dream alive. Baldy isn't too far from Long Beach, I'm looking forward to checking it out!!!

ive riden baldy many times.it seems to me that there is one way up and maybe two down.down the center was rather steep,back to the parkinglot.im curious where they'd put it?

Yeah, I'm curious too. It seems to me that over by the lifts it would be some really steep stuff, not that it wouldn't be rideable, just that it would be somewhat of a plunge vs a xc ride. I know they are looking primarily at a dh type of course, but it would make more sense to make it more appealable to more riders. Even DH guys like a little xc (as long as it's pointed down) once in a while. I'm in for some shoveling.
