I haven't been mountain biking for very long, but the biggest hair raising moment I've had on the trails was at Marshall Canyon when I ran into a pack of coyotes. All but one ran away, and the last one just sat there studying me as I quietly pedaled by.

Very funny, but no. This thing was standing about 2-3 ft high and was crouching away as I stood there holding my bike over my head and yielling at it like a little kid wanting his Mama ...either a coyote or a mtn lion

It sucks getting up early, but I'd rather do that than riding in the heat...can't wait for the winter
