Got majorly dooked at Oaks tonight, though I think it was just dog crud that spattered my shorts, the back of my leg and my frame and seatpost. ... At least I keep telling myself that.

Rode there last night and I can see the spot where the dookie was, but now it just looks like a black mark.

However, what's with the couch off Robber's Peak????? It looks like someone tossed a blue couch off the top & it is sitting on the hill. You can see it when climbing the 3rd B.

Maybe the phantom loafer hangs out there and eats (and eats.. and eats) in between his "attacks".

Since the gate is down, there have been a lot of teens going up in the area and doing god knows what. I have seen people offroading and smoking out on Robbers Peak.

So I was out riding Peter's tonight and Couldn't help but laugh. At the Top of Big Red there's a yeloow diamond sign to signal the drop off/end of road. Some drew a nice picture and wrote "NO POOPING ANYTIME" Damn I laufghed so hard and nobody in my group had a clue.

It was fresh again last night, close to the exact same spot, although it didn't smell anywhere near as bad as the original. Perhaps that's because it is still solid and not a squishy mess.

I dunno, but that seems pretty big...maybe a horse ate something wrong?

Seems more likely that it's a big dog. I can't imagine somebody squeezing one out in the middle of a trail. A dog on the other hand...that's feasible.

Okay, I know this may seem like a really weird request, but any chance you have a close-up of the poop? We could identify what kind of feces it is (which animal it came from) if we could see it better

I proposed that picture is sent via private message.

I wouldn't want another rider or hiker to see me taking pictures of poop on the trail. That would take some explaining.

Hahaha, you guys are right... Sorry, the scientist in me took over and my common sense... Curiosity got the best of me.

P.S. Hey, in my defense though, I did preface it with "this may be weird" LOL!

That would be one big ass dog, or a couple of angry hikers. We know the plant goes down right in time for the weekend. Did any one bother with a little "Trail Maintenance" here?
