A disgusting habit, but a VERY common in the city.

Poop freeloaders are one of the main reasons you see chains & barriers blocking off loading ramps at businesses.

My building is in a clean, newer part of Santa Fe Springs. My east parking lot is pretty much hidden from the street view. We would usually find someone's deposit two or three times a month, along with their beer bottles and Jack-in-the-Box wrappers. I had to chain, fence & light the area to finally get rid of the poopers.

About one week ago, an employee came in to worn me of some suspicious looking guys in our east lot. This was around 11am. We've had some material theft from our enclosed yard, so we hustled over just in time to see them take off. Hmmmm, what were they doing? Then I saw the urine mark all over the wall and asphalt.

Bright, stinking daylight and jerks are peeing on my building!!

i'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for this. maybe they were just taking a whiz and it got away from 'em.

Yeah, Probably one of the last things NASA thought the satellites where going to be used for. Maybe if the satellite picture quality improves on Google earth, we'll be able to actually see the crap in the future.

My shop is right across the street from a Home Depot. I have day labors all over my area all day every day. Along with them comes catering trucks about every 20 minutes. They also have a large size gambling deal going on. (They gamble much more then try for work)
For all you people that have a soft spot for the day workers here is how it works.

I show up at 6:45 or so and they are already there. At least 50+, more on the + side. Then the roach coaches start rolling in. I don’t let the trucks in the parking lot but they can park on the curb. (no side walk) Yup, those poor people always seem to have money to eat off those trucks. So they stand there in my bushes/ground cover and eat. Then they drop their paper plate and trash right where they stand. Then they one by one head behind my shop. Not to toss their trash. That was left out in the street. They are taking a dump behind the dumpster or a few select bushes. It’s way past just a little nasty. On top of that most of my customers drive trucks. The ones that are not gambling chase down people driving trucks. They will chase my customers into my parking lot just because he’s driving a truck. Not good for me at all. It looks like a 3rd world country with all the trash, bikes and crap all over. But really it’s located right here in Orange County.

So what would you do? I call the police on them all the time. I have went to city hall a few times also. I was told to stop calling because I am violating these people’s civil rights. These people are crapping and pissing all over and I’m violating their rights?? In the cops defense they do make them pick up trash before they run them off.

How many of you think the prankster at the Oaks is a sick bastard but have a soft spot for the poor day worker dropping dookie behind my dumpster??

dave- actually, all your city needs is a job center like costa mesa's. it ran for years without problems and other cities used it as a model...until our minuteman mayor shut it down a few years ago (against the recommendation of the chief of police). now we have loitering and other issues like you've mentioned, so what's the solution- they're looking into bringing the job center back!

I was out there Friday after work and unless I was on the wrong trail (which has happened since I don't know them by name out there), we saw nothing. We went up the 3 B's, down to the left of the pole at the mesa and across the ST to Chutes...
