Pictures Otay Lakes, After Work Ride
We had a fun and fast ride this early evening, great views and great weather, Travis(MT_ID) had a close encounter with big rattle, he got overloaded with adrenaline that it was hard to catch up with him after that, this is not a ride report but just wanted to share a few pictures, hope you like them. Riders: MT_ID, bajamtnbkr and my friend Ivan.

No snakes on our afterwork ride, but looks like you guys had a lot of fun!

Looks like a a nice after work ride! I was planning on meeting you guys there but ended up doing some "family stuff" at home. Did you guys end up riding to "touch the fence"?

Gotta love the snakes, unless your me. That little rascal was laying in the trail as I rounded the corner. I was going to fast to stop so I decided to bunny hop him. As I was drifting through the air over him in what was surely slow motion he struck at me. Not exagerating when I say he missed by maybe an inch or two. Once I got stopped about twenty feet passed him I started yelling to the others "Snake, Snake!" Baja was coming up next and heard me yelling but didn't know where the snake was so he was afraid to stop thinking he might stop right over it. Definitely a comedy to watch I am sure. Baja asked what kind of snake it was and before I could get much of any reply out he started rattling for everything he was worth. Guess that answers that question! Needless to say, I kicked everyone's butt to the end of the trail. Seems I may have had a little adrenaline to burn off.
